HGTV’s Property Brothers Highlights an LCI client: Native Trails

It’s immensely satisfying seeing your client on TV and, even better, knowing that you made it happen. That is the case with LCI client, Native Trails, and the popular HGTV show, Property Brothers.
If you aren’t familiar with the program, allow me to fill you in. Twin brothers, Jonathan and Drew Scott, help couples find fixer-uppers and transform them into dream homes.
Enter LCI and Native Trails. Nearly one year in the making, the LCI team feels like the airing of the show’s new season is more like a much-anticipated birth! It was around this time in 2014 that we first began talks with Cineflix, the show’s production company. Our goal was to get Native Trails’ kitchen, bath and home décor products on HGTV in a big way and we knew the brother’s show was our golden ticket.
After months of coordinating product shipments to Westchester County, NY – and one missing-in-action copper range hood – we prayed our client’s home furnishings wouldn’t end up on the cutting room floor.
We had our first taste of the new season last week and simultaneously held our breath. Much to our delight, as we watched from the comforts of our homes, Native Trails products were featured and WOW did they look good!
In PR, some opportunities and placements can take a long time to materialize, but don’t let that discourage you. The wait is worth it. In this case, each Property Brothers episode boasts viewership numbers of six million. With multiple air dates and multiple products featured throughout the season, we know the client will be thrilled with the return on their investment.
Property Brothers’ new episodes air Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on HGTV and Mondays at 9 p.m. on the W Network Canada. Tune in and help us get those viewership numbers up even higher, and tell your Canadian friends, too.
