Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) have become buzzwords in the new business landscape. But Landis Communications Inc. (LCI) has been doing work in communities of color and gender disparity for years. As a certified Corporate Diversity Supplier, LCI is LGBTQ+-owned. We’re also certified members of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and the Golden Gate Business Association, the San Francisco Bay Area’s LGTBQ+ chamber of commerce. And the San Francisco Business Times annually has named LCI to its list of top LGBTQ+-owned businesses in the Bay Area. We’ve worked on diversity projects for UCSF, Out and Equal (advocating for workplace equity for LGBTQ+ employees), the Museum of the African Diaspora and the Black community, the Asian Art Museum (representing more than 40 Asian cultures) and a special California Bank & Trust initiative aimed at Latina small business owners. PRSA SF awarded its D&I award for best SF Bay Area campaign to LCI for our work with client Becoming Independent, serving the developmentally disabled community.
