Challenge
The goal of this campaign was to publicly and prominently announce a county-wide program that would allow residents to access information about all County transit services, but also about links from Solano County to major metropolitan hubs, including San Francisco, Oakland and Sacramento.
Strategy
LCI recommended a press conference at Suisun City’s new train station, with representatives from all appropriate transit agencies, to announce the new campaign.
Results
Regional media coverage was comprehensive and widespread, including: San Francisco Chronicle, Vacaville Reporter, Fairfield Daily Republic, Alameda Newspaper Group, KGO Radio, KPIX TV and more. Solano’s county-wide education program was an enormous success and ridership increased by 5%.
