Corporate Giving – Leading by Example

By Sean Dowdall

One of my core values, and the core values of Landis Communications, is to be a good citizen. Giving back, whether it be a monetary contribution or an act of service, is crucial to achieving a better tomorrow.

I’m very proud to share that for the fourth year in a row, San Francisco Business Times has named Landis Communications one of the top 100 Bay Area corporations for overall corporate giving in 2022. Beyond that, Landis Communications ranked number one by philanthropy as a percentage of profits and year-over-year growth in contributions by percentage of profits.

At Landis, we invest in the people and organizations making meaningful changes in the environment, social justice, health and human services and the arts.

I encourage you to consider helping the wonderful paradise of Maui as it recovers from the recent fires. Landis has donated to and recommends the following organizations for you to consider now and in the future – the need will be there for many years:

Maui Strong Community Fund

American Red Cross Hawaii

Maui Humane Society

World Central Kitchen Maui

Finally, I’ve provided a list of several organizations we donated to in 2022. Click the hyperlinks to learn more about these wonderful organizations and their work and please consider making a contribution:
