Beatrice Kilat is a writer and former East Bay Express journalist with over a decade of experience in media management, inclusive and multicultural marketing, strategy and brand development, advocacy communications, and public relations. She has worked for nonprofits ranging in size from 2 to 300 employees and Fortune 500 companies, local, regional, and national businesses through her work as a newsroom editor with Business Wire.

She joins Landis after spending five years with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, where she served as the Media & Public Affairs Manager. She was on the communications and marketing team that helped shepherd Bay Area national parks through the COVID-19 pandemic, post-pandemic recovery, and helped open San Francisco’s Presidio Tunnel Tops.

Previously, she worked at Lucasfilm, the California Association of Food Banks, Berkeley Public Library Foundation, and 826 National.

She loves working in community for community, and working for a values-aligned company. She volunteers in Berkeley and is a supporter of local arts, including the literary arts.
