The ZATA Project

LCI continues to support, among other projects and nonprofits, the ZATA Project. In June, 2005 LCI produced and promoted a San Francisco fundraising event for the ZATA Project, benefitting UCSF, UCSD and University of Colorado partnership programs in Zimbabwe. The organization sells native Zimbabwean art to raise money to buy AIDS prevention drugs and delivers those drugs firsthand to people living with AIDS in Zimbabwe. The San Francisco event raised alone more than $35,000 for people with AIDS living in Zimbabwe. LCI continues to support PR and fundraising efforts for the ZATA Project, which this month has partnered with the International AIDS Conference currently taking place in Toronto.
