As director at LCI, Marsha Robertson is responsible for strategic planning and account supervision as well as business development opportunities for the agency. Marsha comes to Landis Communications Inc. from New York and Los Angeles, bringing twenty years of experience as a public relations executive working in film, television and digital entertainment. She has extensive contacts with national print, broadcast and digital media and has also provided strategic messaging, interviewing and writing for corporate communications, press kits and videos.

Robertson began her career at MGM/UA Entertainment, where she moved up the ranks to become Vice President of National Publicity. An avid interest in film production led her to segue into production publicity, traveling around the world as a press liaison for dozens of major motion pictures including “Top Gun, “ Jurassic Park,” “The Hunt for Red October, “Good Morning Vietnam,” and “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” among many others.

After fifteen years in Los Angeles, Marsha moved to New York City where she worked as Director of Media Relations for HBO’s original movies. She joined the management team at The Dart Group (now called 42 West), one of the premier agencies in the country representing motion pictures, television and celebrity talent.

Most recently, Marsha has provided strategic planning and media relations for Playtone, a film and television production company under the direction of Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman in Los Angeles. While at Playtone, Marsha developed collaborative relationships with the company’s distribution partners to define campaign strategies for both current and future projects.
